What is Servo Motor?
A Servo Motorr is a rotary actuator or linear actuator that allows for precise control of angular or linear position, velocity and acceleration.
It consists of a suitable motor coupled to a sensor for position feedback. It also requires a relatively sophisticated controller, often a dedicated
module designed specifically for use with servo motors.

Re: What is Servo Motor?
the use of a servo motor is as long as the coded signal exists on the input line, the servo will maintain the angular position of the shaft and the very common use of servo is in Radio Controlled models like cars, airplanes, robots, and puppets. They are also used in powerful heavy-duty sail boats. Servo are rated for Speed and Torque.
i hope i answer your question KathrynB
